  AUTOMATIC FREEZING POINT APPARATUS FOR ENGINE COOLANT

This method covers the determination of the freezing point of an aqueous engine coolant solution in the laboratory by determination of the time temperature curve.

Features:

 

PC acquires data on line and displays. The apparatus automatically plots the line temperature curve from which freezing point is deduced.

-60°C Cryogenic circulator bath
Cooling bath Houses cooling tube
Cooling Tube Jacketed with polymer stopper
Motorized Stirring The stirrer rod is coil type made of steel wire 1.6mm in diameter. The stirrer rod moves up & down by connected motor assembly
Digital Thermometer & Sensor Range is from -50° to 50°C. The temperature is recorded every 1 minute initially and then every 15 seconds to the nearest 0.1° C.
Data logger & Software For logging time v/s temperature relation. The Software gives direct plotted graph wherein one can determine the freezing point.
